Welcome to Windmill Plantation¨s website that has been
developed as a
communications tool for our residents by our residents. Residents will
be able to view routinely announced event information about our
neighborhood activities and special events upon login by clicking on the
radio button in the top right of this page. The public is able to view
the Association's pertinent documents and pictures of the community
amenities by clicking the appropriate radio buttons located on the left
bar of this page.
Windmill Plantation is a peaceful, friendly, upscale community
now numbering more than 300 homes located in Columbia County, Georgia
and located approximately five miles northwest of the central Evans
community area. Our residents range from young professionals to
families with children of all ages to retirees. Our neighborhood
amenities feature 65 acres of recreational area that include a clubhouse
with swimming pool and trained lifeguards (in summer season), lighted
tennis and basketball courts, a volleyball court, playground,
baseball/softball field, and an approximate 50-acre manmade lake for
fishing.
We are located just minutes from downtown Evans, all the normal shopping
necessities, churches, the Evans Government Complex, library, and
schools. Many of the children who live in our neighborhood attend the
Greenbrier schools (Elementary, Middle and/or High) located less than 1
mile away. There are also numerous nearby recreational facilities that
include Thurmond Lake and Patriots Park.
